REVIEWS NOVEMBER 2018

José 11 nov. Yurt

Thank you for your review. Work is being done on the road, but most cars come up without problems. Depending on what you're used to, the road can be a challenge because some parts are a bit steep. When there are problems with the road, we always offer help of course. We do not understand your remark about the water? There is always enough water at your disposal. There is always a large bottle of drinking water in the Yurt, and in the communal kitchen there are large jugs. Drinking water does not come from taps on the whole of Tenerife. Indeed there is still no running water, there are points where you can tap water. (This is also in the advertisement) Electricity is only available in the common areas and not in the Yurts. In the Yurts is always a walking lamp ready for you (so also this remark I do not understand) In our house itself we do not have electricity, but we work with a generator and it runs a few hours in the evening, but never until late. After that you can enjoy the incredible sound of silence and peace as you experienced. About the cleaning: you didn't Use the Kitchen, but we clean the Bathroom several Times a day. You had a upgrade to take a hot shower instead of the pump It's not modern, but it was verry clean in our opinion. Thank you for staying with us nevertheless!

Very nice and cosy Lotus tent. It’s very quiet up in the mountains, and you have a nice view. Can get a little cold at night (november), just use more blankets and cuddle with your partner. There wasn’t running hot water yet, but that’s fixed/changed in the future. Read their description for an update. If you like the ‘real’ experience, and like to disconnect from the city, this is the place for you!

A great escape from the city, with amazing yurtas fully equipped and a reminder of how much we as people spend daily. It is my believe that such experiences are important for everyone and not to loose the connection with nature. To consider humidity a bit in the night and access. Rent a suv or trunk, not easily to access with a small car. Willian was great, showing us his finca/farm, house and space. Tenerife is special. Highly recomend it.

We spend 4 nights in a yurt at Willian & Lindsays place and had the most amazing time. The surroundings are very peaceful, the view across the village and to the sea is breathtaking and the yurt was so comfortable (highlight was the wood stove for chilly nights)! They also have a lot of lovely cats, dogs and other animals! Real back to earth experience!
